President of the Bequia Football Association, Dominique Stowe, has announced his resignation, saying he has taken up an appointment with CONCACAF as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Integrity & Diversity for the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation, where he will “play a key role in the implementation of Integrity and Diversity Programs”.
“After much consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the views of the association, players and of myself have become distinctly different over the past year. I no longer feel that I can be a useful contributor to the goals and mission of the organisation,” Stowe said in a press release.
“While I know that everyone on the committee are involved with the Bequia Football Association is deeply committed to improving the future of our community, I am also aware that the various ideas for improvement in our community when comes to football seem to be going to extremes overall. I want to thank everyone for the time and contributions which have helped improve Bequia Football over the past years,” he said in the brief statement.
