Leader of the Opposition and President of the New Democratic Party (NDP) Arnhim Eustace will on Wednesday deliver what the party has described as a “major address regarding women in St. Vincent and the Grenadines”.

“Our Women are the backbone of our nation. In the spirit of International Women’s Day celebrated this week, the Honourable Arnhim Eustace will deliver a major message to the women of St. Vincent and the Grenadines which will outline the NDP’s position and policy regarding empowerment and advancement of women in St. Vincent and the Grenadines at all levels,” NDP spokesperson Vynnette Frederick said.

“The address will feature a ten-point plan for re-positioning the women of St. Vincent and the Grenadines at the centre of policy to protect, promote, respect and empower them,” Frederick further stated.

The address will be delivered to a live audience and the media as well as media audiences at the NDP headquarters on Murray’s Road, Kingstown at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
