With the fifth season premiere of the HBO original drama series and global phenomenon, Game of Thrones, Flow recently rewarded loyal fans and specially invited guests in St. Vincent and the Grenadines the opportunity to watch this first episode at a special screening party at The Beachcombers Hotel Conference Room on Sunday.

Season five premiered simultaneously in 170 countries around the globe, including the Caribbean, and airs each Sunday on Flow on channel 502.

Christopher Gordon, country manager of Columbus Communications SVG opened the night, saying, “For about a $1 per day, customers can have access to a diverse range of programming across 11 HBO and MAX channels, offering family and kids

He further commented that Flow SVG was extremely pleased through the partnership with HBO, to engage fans and customers via a trail-blazing event and the opportunity to enjoy premier entertainment such as the Game of Thrones series.

Based on the epic fantasy novels by George R.R. Martin and created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, Game of Thrones has become the highest-rated series in the history of

HBO, garnering multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.

The drama takes place in Westeros, a world where the struggle for power and the thirst for vengeance dominate the kingdoms.

After the shocking deaths of Joffrey, Tywin, Oberyn and Shae last season, a plethora of compelling storylines will play out to their inevitable, often bloody conclusions throughout this new season, with a power vacuum that the protagonists of Westeros

and Essos look to fill.

Season five features some of the most explosive scenes yet, as the promise that “winter is coming” becomes more ominous than ever before.

The fifth season of Game of Thrones was filmed in Croatia, Spain and Ireland on 151 sets over 240 days of production. This season –composed of ten, hour-long episodes — includes the participation of 166 actors, over 1,000 cast and crewmembers, and 5,000 extras.

Fans can tune in to channel 502 each Sunday night at 9 p.m. to watch a new episode of this epic fantasy.
