I have always had a little respect for Jomo the man. But now I consider him Jomo the Jumbie, I have no respect whatsoever for “it”.
No, using “it” is not a mistake; it’s a purposeful use of the English language. How can an educated man utter such nonsense? Well, such a man couldn’t, but certainly a jumbie could.
Jomo Jumbie (JJ) spoke a whole lot of rubbish on radio on the weekend when he tried to deny the figures of SVG’s rape record. He has decided that he is right and the United Nations is wrong — the UN have submitted false and misleading figures to the world regarding rape in SVG. After Mr. Eustace rang in to protest what JJ said, like all jumbies, JJ disappeared into thin air and callers were told that he had stepped out; JJ was well and truly gone.
What on earth is JJ trying to do? Why is “it” talking such rubbish? It’s simple really. “It” thinks “it” can talk and we will listen and agree with what “it” says. So all the old Marxist style ULP formulated mumbo jumbo goes into top gear in an attempt to make wrong right.
It’s a reminder of years long past when the Jumbie party, the MNU, tried to brainwash Vincentian people with all sorts of communist crap. Gonsalves and others spoke in town to huge crowds of up to 20 people. The old people had them well and truly spotted, they knew what was being presented to them as fact was fiction and little more than crap.
“Its” constituency election motto is “Run with Jomo, Win with Jomo”. Well, if you can’t stand the heat from a radio programme, we can understand the run part. But shouldn’t the motto be “Run with Jumbie, disappear like Jumbie”.
JJ, I suggest you tell all the women who have been raped it was a mistake on the part of the UN, and they were not raped at all.
The people of South Leeward do not need a nanny lecture from a Jumbie about their health. They have been dealt so much spite and malice and hatred from the ULP that is where you should start, start by apologising to the constituents, not trying to convince them none of the crap happened.
Then go and see your boss and tell him about diet and running, then put him straight about how to treat others, as well as he would expect himself to be treated.
Tell the people about how the country has been bankrupted by the ULP; how the government took employees’ NIS money and used it elsewhere, and when caught out they had to borrow from the NIS to replace the money they diverted from the NIS.
Tell the people in South Leeward about the US$1 million which was hawked around Kingstown whilst they suffered hardship. Children are going hungry and no drugs or medicines in the clinics or hospital.
Tell them about the man who was given a diplomatic passport, he didn’t work for the government and he was not a diplomat. He was allegedly caught at London airport carrying a kilo of cocaine whilst using the diplomatic passport issued by someone in the ULP regime.
Tell them about the out of control corruption under this Marxist-led government, a government that you are now part of.
Tell them about the disappearance of people like Mr. Joslyn and the assassination of people like Glen Jackson. Explain how the ULP is dealing with catching the perpetrators.
Tell the people the truth; they are sick to death of all the lies they have been fed for the last fourteen years.
As for you thinking that being a “political scientist, lawyer” is a quality that we are seeking in a candidate, you are wrong, it’s the same qualities in your superior boss, that should be good reason to preclude you from running anywhere in SVG on that ticket.
Remember when you said, “The Unity Labour Party is a party that has an outstanding record and we want to continue that record”. Well let me tell you that not just South Leeward constituency believes, but most of the country now believes the ULP has been a dismal failure and they have done nothing for the farmers except bring them and their family’s ruination through spiteful retribution. All the hardship they have experienced over the years can be directly attributed to the ULP, who chose to punish instead of love the people of South Leeward, all because they never voted ULP. Explain to them why all the hatred, spite and malice were heaped on them over the years.
Well JJ, now coming with all the old talk, that really doesn’t wash, you coming now and promising love and help is a worthless promise, because it’s little more than mumbie’o-jumbie’o, the promises of a Jumbie.
Even your method of selection is enough for any existing ULP supporters to dump you at the next election. They did not want you then, they do not want you now, and certainly will not want you in the future. You see a real man would not have allowed himself to be hoisted on the people the way you did, but I suppose a Jumbie couldn’t care less.

Peter is the most brilliant man out of vincy land. He always try his best to persuade the general public with a bag of rubbish. He’s very repetitive of him self and have a very limited vocabulary. He’s an occasionalist and always plague other people writing. He will talk trash about anyone who does not agree with him but will slaughter Ralph every time he opened his mouth. His hippocratical behavior is beyond anything you will ever know.
I did not listen to the radio programme to which Peter Binose refers; but if Jomo Thomas did indeed question the figures in the UN report I would like to ask him a few questions, namely:
1) Is Mr Thomas aware that the UN publishes statistics on the basis of reports made to that organization by the governments of the individual member countries?
2) Is Mr Thomas not aware that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a member country of the United Nations and of the various UN Committees, and that SVG’s Government submits the required reports, based on information submitted by individual public institutions such as the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force?
3) Has Mr Thomas even looked at the report which states that the statistics used are of cases reported by the police?
4) Is Mr Thomas questioning the reports submitted by the government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, or
5) Is he suggesting that the UN deliberately changed the information submitted by the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines?
6) If question 5 is the case, then has the Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines lodged, or is the Government about to lodge, a formal and public protest with the UN?
Pat he actually said the figures and statistics supplied by the UN were “bogus”.
He used that very word “bogus”.
Then when some some very overraught Vincentians phoned in and argued the points that you made of him, he upped and left the studio.
Shane Daniel, what a wonderful Texan name Shane is. I am so pleased that you found my version of the truth refreshing and invigorating. If you think those words that I use are derogatory, well they are pretty mild in the scheme of things when you consider the stroke that “It” tried to pull on the public, and more importantly on our women.
Shane, or is this the Jumbie in a different form? we know they are capable of transformation. You can see it all the time in SVG, from Marxist to Labour, and back whenever it suits them.
The thing I am trying to get at Shane, but I am not very good with words is, “go and boil your head”.
My dear knob head, or Mr Bighead as you sign yourself in abbreviated terms. Hippocratical is the adjective of Hippocratic. Its a medical term, or a description of medical behavior by a medical person.
What you perhaps wanted to say was hypocritical, that means or suggests one has higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case. “we don’t go to church and we thought it would be hypocritical to have him christened”.
Occasionalist is the noun of occasionalism the post Cartesian theory that the seeming interconnection of mind and matter is effected by God.
As for slaughtering Ralph Gonsalves, he does that himself by telling lies, not just little lies but giant lies. If you are unable to see that for yourself I am wasting my time replying to such an ignorant person. Or as Gonsalves would say, you need to read to help your ignorance. Thats his saying not mine, but he obviously had someone like you in mind when he said it.
Gosh you guys are doing overtime on behalf of the ULP. Why not tell the folks about what “it” did. Because what I wrote is the truth, its not fiction. Why not tell “it” what a naughty Jumbie “it” is.
Peter, you’ve mentioned several times about the assassination of glen jackson and the disapperance of mr joslyn. If you have sopmething to say to the people of svg, i think this is the perfect time to let us know what really happen to these men and expose the dirty snake who gave the order to kill him and lock up the dog that carry out this dreadful act…if this crime is not solve and justice is not carry out, the stain of his his death will be on the hands of all svg. keep up the good work and let all svg know that it’s never a good idea to keep any party in power for 4 terms.
Don’t ask me to do that, call on the government, call on the police. They have both abandoned these cases, they are now cold cases going no where.
What I would hope is that if the government changes these matter will be pursued in a direction that the police appear unwilling and unable to take at this time.
