Leader of the Opposition and President of the main opposition New Democratic Party, Arnhim Eustace is leading a three-member delegation to New York, where he is holding a number of events, culminating in a town hall meeting on Sunday at Friends of Crown Heights in Brooklyn.

The other members of the delegation are Member of Parliament for North Leeward, Roland Patel Matthews, and former parliamentarian, experienced engineer Glenford Stewart.

NDP spokesperson Vynnette Frederick said a number of issues are expected to be discussed at the town hall meeting, including employment, healthcare, airport development, diaspora and Garifuna affairs, foreign policy and economic growth.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Progressive Organization of New York SPOONY is hosting the NDP delegation.

While Eustace is away, the New Democratic Party will be led by Member of Parliament for Northern Grenadines and NDP Vice-president Godwin Friday.
