Police on Monday said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Nicholas Dougan, a 19-year-old, unemployed man of Colonarie, whose body was discovered in the Colonarie River, about 5 p.m. Sunday.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be performed on the body of the deceased, police said.
Initial reports suggested that he may have drowned.
