For over 50 years the St. Benedict Day Nursery and Children’s Home has provided a safe haven for underprivileged children in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Their sole purpose is to enhance the quality of life to the most vulnerable children who often have little or no family ties.

As part of Massy Stores three-month long promotion titled “Family Friends and Food”, Massy Stores opted to bring some cheer to one of the charitable organisation in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Last Wednesday, the Massy Stores caravan headed to the St. Benedict Day Nursery and Children’s Home at Georgetown to treat a number of deserving children to an evening of fun filled activities, including bouncing castles, egg hunts and delicious treats.

“The faces of children and teachers were left with smiles from ear to ear; for every laughter and smile on the faces of every child was an even bigger and brighter one on the Massy Stores team that headed the event,” Massy Stores said in a statement.

“This small deed was indeed a success and all of us at Massy Stores are looking forward to our next event to bring some cheer to a someone in need. Sister Nya Anne Pagott of the St. Benedict Day Nursery and Children’s Home also expressed sincere thanks to the Massy Stores team for hosting this event for her children,” the statement said.
