The farmer whose body was found hanging from a tree on Saturday had ingested a poisonous substance, an autopsy has found.
The post mortem, however, concluded that the farmer, Arnos Durrant, died of asphyxiation.
Police said that the body of, 66-year-old Lowmans Windward man, was found hanging by his neck from a mango tree along the bank of the Lowmans Windward River about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
