Police are yet to charge anyone with Tuesday’s midday execution-style murder of a 74-year-old man in Stubbs.

Georgetown resident Errol Sutton was pronounced dead at the Stubbs Polyclinic, where police took him after a lone gunman shot him three times in the head.

Sutton was shot as he made his way to the Stubbs Police Station, where he was going to return an injury form.

He reportedly had been injured during an altercation with two men over a parcel of land and was submitting the form as part of a report her had filed with police.

Police say that their investigation into the killing — the 23rd murder in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this year — continues.
