Another member of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cabinet is mourning the death of a close relative.
Minister of Housing, Montgomery Daniel is mourning the death of his 27-year-old daughter.
Reports are that Daniella Daniel, died in Trinidad on Saturday where she was taken after developing complications during the delivery of a baby at Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH), the main healthcare facility in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The baby is said to have survived.
Daniel died on the day that Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves buried his 98-year-old mother, Theresa Francis.
Francis, who has been living with Alzheimer’s for a number of years, died at MCMH on July 4.
She was buried on Saturday at Belle Vue cemetery after a funeral service at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Belle Vue.
