Anthony “Code Red” Bacchus, former president of the National Omnibuses Association, was buried on at the Kingstown cemetery on Tuesday.
Bacchus died last Friday, July 27, after a battle with kidney disease.
He was 62 years old.
A handful of mourners attended the funeral, which was not widely publicized and was conducted in keeping with the practices of his Islamic faith.
Bacchus is survived by his wife, Alicia Bacchus; his parents Gloria and Vincent “Sonny” Bacchus, his children, Afiya and Anthony Jr., and four grandchildren
