Vincentians on Friday began paying EC$1 less per gallon of fuel at the pump.
On Wednesday, Cabinet approved new prices for fuel, which came into effect last Friday.
According to the revised prices, gasoline now retails at EC$10.47 per gallon, diesel, for EC$9.30 and low sulphur diesel for EC$9.29.
The price in each category has fallen by EC$1, as in also the case with the wholesale prices of fuel.
The per-gallon wholesale price of gasoline is now, EC$9.71, diesel EC$8.64 and low sulphur diesel, $8.63.
The price of fuel on the international market has fallen significantly over the past few months.
Tell us how much taxes, duty, VAT the government are taking from the fuel. The wholesale price means nothing its the real cost price that we want to know. What does it cost the importer?
This government can do much better than this
Am not satisfied
SPARKY, you are of course quite right, when you consider for the last few months they have been giving oil away almost.
