The man found dead last week at a construction site at Glen with his buttocks exposed died of head injuries, police say, less than a week after they said his death was not suspicious.

The dead man is Quinson Josiah Richards, a 21-year-old, labourer of Fair Hall, police said on Tuesday.

Police said that some unknown person(s) murdered Richards by striking him on the head with an unknown object at Glen between 5 p.m. on Nov. 25 and 7:10 a.m. Nov. 26.

Richards is said to have a history of epilepsy.

His death marks the 28th homicide in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 2020.

Police are continuing their investigations and are asking persons with information that could be helpful to telephone 1-784-456-1339, 1-784-458-4200 or any police station in the country or speak with any police officer with whom they are comfortable.

All information will be treated confidentially, police said.
