The SVG Christian Council is aware of the serious allegations made regarding a shooting incident that purportedly involves two public figures whose offices are of significance in key institutions of law and order and democracy. The council encourages all citizens regarding this and other such matters to resist the temptation of trial by media and strongly urges that the investigations and appropriate actions be pursued with utmost diligence and swiftly. We believe as well that justice must needs be done and every effort should be made to ensure that justice is seen to be done as this is critical to national well-being.

We need men of God in this nation to stand for justice
Christian council still believes Jesus is white so naturally, they’ll be praying to their white God and leader for the accused to be exonerated. Has 400 yrs of slavery and oppression not taught us anything?
The message is weak and will do little to push the police and prosecution office to do anything because of their strong alliance with the ULP and its leadership.
Once again the Christian Council have proven to be un-Christian in their dealing with their political masters.

Mr. John was shot on April 13, 2021, one month since the alleged perpetrators trespasses on his premises and commit this brazen crime. Why did it take so long for the Christian council to make a statement? You want to tell me; you take an entire month to prepare one paragraph that is so feeble and cannot stand on two leg to amble the pews of the church. The bible clearly states not everyone who call on the name of the lord will enter his kingdom. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!
What was the message?? Did anyone get it ? Is this a prelude to judgement day? And these guys will be sitting on the right hand of god on judgement day. Guess we will see a lot of protests. What a spineless bunch.

Gonsalves once said whatever happens Vincentians forget it nine days, intimating that the retention and memory of our people is dull. I would actually believe two things have happened some have forgotten, the others just do not give a damn because such behavior is accepted as normal in SVG.
As for the council they are a living disgrace on the church because they could insist but do not.
The so called christian council in SVG is a “mouth piece” for the ULP.The Bible states in Psalms 14:1The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God.They are corrupt, they have done abominable works,there is none that doeth good.(Ps 53:1)also. The leaders of our friendly Island do care or have respect for law and order.
