Christie Balcombe, a Vincentian-American singer and songwriter and former member of the Dynamic Chorale Voices (the junior Choir of the New Kingstown Chorale) has released her first album, consisting of 10 songs.

Balcombe wrote all of the songs on the album and worked along with her producer Ryan Dodge.

She describes her main hit, “Victory In Jesus”, as a song of overcoming.

“Through pain and suffering, we must continue to give God the praises he deserves. live for Jesus, sing for Jesus, and dance through it all,” Balcombe said,

Balcombe attended the St. Joseph’s Convent Kingstown and was mostly inspired by her former Art teacher Nerissa King.

“Art was my favorite subject. Ms King would always push me to do my best. She would always give me great constructive criticism along with positive feedback about my work. Ms King didn’t just teach me art, she taught me life skills that I use on an everyday basis,” Balcombe said.

Balcombe Graduated in 2016 and furthered her studies in liberal arts and philosophy.

She graduated in 2021 from the City University of New York with honours as a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Balcombe said that, inspired by the Holy Spirit, she will continue to pursue her career in music.

“Never give up on your dreams, keep praying and God will see you through,” she said.
