iWitness News managed to take the following photos of the contestants in the Miss SVG 2022 pageant, scheduled for Oct. 29, 2022.
The pageant is being held for the first time since 2019, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The contestants were sashed at an event at Murray Heights Hotel, in Kingstown, on Monday night, where non-government media was relegated to the last rows to the back of the elongated room.
It was difficult for journalists to hear what was being said or to make a recording.
The Beauty Shows Committee of the Carnival Development Corporation is yet to release to the media its official photos and biography of the contestants.
iWitness News will publish them if they become available.
