The Carnival Development Corporation says it will be embarking on a series of marketing campaigns to promote Vincymas 2023.
On Monday a live television interview with Marketing and Development Officer, Esworth “Ezzie” Roberts, was broadcast on WESN TV during their morning programme, “AM Prime”.
Another interview was done and published as a full-page article on Vincymas in the Tuesday edition of the Guardian Newspaper.
Roberts will also be travelling to Trinidad “to coordinate and execute marketing initiatives during their carnival celebrations,” the Carnival Development Corporation said in a press statement on Wednesday.
A new television commercial was scheduled to be released on Synergy TV and other local television stations on Wednesday.
“There would be a live interview on the ‘Breaking Dawn’ morning programme on Synergy TV on Friday along with live performances and endorsements by Vincy soca artistes.
“A Vincymas promotions booth would be set up on the opposite side of Synergy TV’s building on Ariapita Avenue on Carnival Monday. also, a series of radio, Television and Newspaper interviews have been scheduled to take place while in Trinidad,” the release siad.
CDC said it would subsequently launch a QR code which when scanned with mobile devices would give people the option to surf the Vincymas website, Instagram page, or Facebook page.
Vincymas activities are slated to be officially launched in May and the Carnival period would run from June 30 to July 11.
