The Georgetown man who crashed into a wall while riding a motorcycle in Colonarie two weeks ago has died.

The man, Maxon Horne, a 53-year-old security guard died at his home around 4 a.m. Tuesday, three days after being discharged from hospital.

iWitness News was reliably informed that Horne suffered head and back injuries in the accident.

In a video clip published by iWitness News on Feb. 7, when the accident occurred, a traffic warden and other members of the public are seen trying to assist Horne immediately after the crash.

Horne was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Police are said to be continuing investigation into the crash.

    It’s about time they TRAIN these people about First Aid Awareness in Incident as in question.
    HOPELESS COUNTRY . . . IN DIRE NEEDS SAVING LIVES.

  2. Helmet does nothing for motor cyclists. I am yet to hear of a cyclist alive after a crash.
    That helmet affect both his vision, hearing and ability to turn the head with ease.
    I’d like any-one to show me how and where the helmet helps. Most countries don’t force cyclists to wear helmet these days.
