Two European ambassadors have presented letters of credence to Governor General of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dame Susan Dougan.

Theodora Magdalena Mircea, ambassador of Romania, presented letters of credence to Dame Susan Dougan at Government House on Friday.

Beate Stirø, ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, also presented letters of credence on Friday.

Each diplomats held meetings with Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves and Opposition Leader Godwin Friday as well as high-level officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour.

Mircea also met with the Ministry of Education and National Reconciliation.

SVG and Romania established diplomatic ties on May 22, 2003 while SVG-Norway tied were established on Feb. 19, 1993.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said each set of relations have been fruitful over the years.
