Allister Smith Millington aka Tombstone, a man who has been convicted of several counts of deception in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has “turned his life around” and was “mourning” — an act of spiritual penitence according to the Spiritual Baptist faith.
Millington’s lawyer, Kay Bacchus-Baptiste told the Kingstown Magistrate Court recently that this was the reason why her client was absent from court for a scheduled hearing.
Smith Millington, of Arnos Vale, was before the court on charges that on Aug. 12, 2021, at Diamond, he had in his possession a number of items reasonably suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained.
The items included seven Swizzle Bar stool, 12 chairs, 16 plastic chairs, five plastic tables, one black 3,000-watt transformer, one cordless electric kettle; one 55-inch, one 43-inch, and two 32-inch flat screen televisions and one 24-monitor, as well as a host of other items, including blenders, a pot set, smart flood light cameras, DVR camera system, mixing pans, extension cords, spotlights, a cash machine, a Bluetooth speaker, and bottles of various types of liquor
