The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Pharmaceutical Association on Wednesday donated a quantity of medical supplies to the Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre.

The donation was made as part of the global celebration of World Pharmacy Week, with the pharmacy community in SVG rallying under the leadership of the SVG Pharmaceutical Association Inc.

Jayma Alexander, director of the Child Development Department, and Hazelann Hadaway, administrative officer assigned to the Liberty Lodge Boys Training Centre from the Ministry of Mobilization accepted the donation on behalf of the institution.

“The Charity Day event exemplified the profound dedication of the SVG Pharmaceutical Association to make a meaningful impact on healthcare beyond the confines of their profession. By reaching out to those in need, they reinforce the vital role of pharmacists in advancing the health and well-being of the people of SVG,” a press release said.
