A Canadian man died after falling from a hotel in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Thursday, a well-placed source has confirmed to iWitness News.

Police are trying to determine if the man jumped or fell accidentally at Myah’s Suites, a five-storey hotel in Diamond that opened in May.

After the incident, the man was taken to hospital, where he died. 

Update: iWitness News removed the name of the deceased from the article, having been informed that authorities are yet to notify the family of the deceased.

  2. It is rather tragic, the billing appears to be a state of the art facility. InSt Vincent how equipped are the fire fighter? Can they scale such a tall building? Just wondering.
