The handing over was in the making months prior as SVG Ambassador to Taiwan Andrea Bowman said in her remarks.

“The strength and coherence of our communities, our communities’ ability to recognise the trust that is necessary within a community to make it strong, that is vital to the rebuilding of St. Vincent and the Grenadines following the poly-crises which we have experienced,” Bowman said.

Meanwhile, Taiwan Ambassador to SVG, Fan expressed her delight at the continued endearing friendship between the Taiwan and SVG.

The diplomat said SVG continues to pledge its unwavering support for Taiwan in the international arena.

The equipment were shipped from Taiwan at an additional cost of US$30,000, taking the total value to just over US$62,000.

The items were sourced from Taiwanese patrons as well as the Vincentian diaspora in Taiwan.
