Fountain resident Andrew Williams has become the second homicide victim in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for 2025.

Williams died sometime after 8 p.m. Thursday at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where a vehicle dropped him off with gunshot injuries around 6 p.m.

iWitness News was reliably informed that Williams was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit of the healthcare facility with multiple gunshot injuries to the torso.

A well-placed source said that he arrived at the hospital in a vehicle with the driver saying only that he had given Williams a ride before leaving.

The driver reportedly did not tell doctors where he had given Williams a ride. Police are said to be searching for the vehicle as part of their investigation.

Williams’ death came hours after a neighbour found the body of Albert Lorenzo Lewis aka Lovie on his porch at Hopewell, Marriaqua.

Lewis, a 63-year-old farmer and welder had a gunshot injury to the head.

Police said they recovered a spent shell at the scene.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines recorded 54 homicides in 2024, one less than the record of 55 which was set the previous year.
