The apparent stabbing death of a woman in Long Wall has taken the homicide count in St. Vincent and the Grenadines this year to 26.
Police have launched an investigation into the death of Sharon Elizabeth Ashton, a 43-year-old domestic, whose body was found at the back of her home in Long Wall around 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Her body had what appeared to be multiple stab wounds.
Police said a post mortem examination will be conducted on the body.
