The new St. Vincent and the Grenadines High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, JM Brereton Horne, has presented his credentials to Scott Furssedonn-Wood, director of protocol and vice-marshal of the diplomatic corps, at Lancaster House in London.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble announced Horne as the high commissioner-designate on Jan. 22, alongside other newly appointed heads of mission and consuls.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs congratulates His Excellency Horne on this milestone and looks forward to his leadership in advancing the foreign policy priorities and international engagement of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines,” a press release said on Monday.
Horne replaces Cenio Lewis, who has held the position for over 20 years.
