The F15 Softball Cricket Tournament 4.0 entered Week 12 with the final preliminary matches and the first semi-final, producing another exciting weekend of cricket action at the Richmond Hill Playing Field.

Semi-Final #1 – Match #41: RS Production Kombat Warriors vs Fairban United

Three-time defending champions RS Production Kombat Warriors have once again booked their place in the F15 Softball Cricket Tournament Finals after defeating two-time finalists Fairban United by 19 runs in a thrilling semi-final encounter.

Winning the toss and electing to bat first, RS Production Kombat Warriors posted an impressive 116 runs for 5 wickets in their allotted 15 overs.

Leading the charge was Roderick John, who produced a magnificent unbeaten 62 runs from 40 balls, anchoring the innings and earning the Man of the Match title.

Fairban United’s bowlers worked hard to contain the scoring, with Lenroy Dalzell taking 1 wicket for 7 runs in 3 overs, while Akron Walker claimed 1 wicket for 10 runs in 3 overs.

Chasing a target of 117 for victory, Fairban United fought bravely but were eventually dismissed for 97 runs in 13.5 overs.

Dillon Douglas led the batting effort with a well-played 40 runs from 27 balls, but lacked sufficient support as the defending champions tightened their grip on the match.

RS Production Kombat Warriors were outstanding with the ball, led by:

  • Kamal Jackson: 3 wickets for 17 runs in 3 overs

Semi-Final #2 – Match #42: Country Meet Town Outah Trouble vs BOSVG All Stars

Country Meet Town Outah Trouble booked their place in the grand finale after defeating BOSVG All Stars by 4 wickets in an entertaining Semi-Final encounter.

After winning the toss and electing to field first, Country Meet Town Outah Trouble produced a disciplined bowling performance to restrict BOSVG All Stars to 103 runs for 5 wickets in their 15 overs.

Once again, Asquith Mapp led the BOSVG batting effort with a well-played 34 runs from 27 balls.

For Country Meet Town Outah Trouble bowling,  Asif Hooper was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets for 23 runs in 3 overs, while Travis Cumberbatch supported with 1 wicket for 10 runs in 3 overs.

In reply, Country Meet Town Outah Trouble chased confidently, reaching 104 runs for 6 wickets in 13.5 overs to secure a well-deserved victory and a place in the championship match.

Captain Asif Hooper led from the front with a match-winning 29 runs from 19 balls not out, earning him the Man of the Match.

For BOSVG All Stars, Orlando Lavia bowled impressively, claiming 2 wickets for 7 runs in 1.5 overs, while Kody Horne took 2 wickets for 22 runs in 2 overs.

The defending champions will now seek a historic fourth consecutive title, while Country Meet Town Outah Trouble will look to dethrone the champions and claim the F15 Softball Cricket Tournament 4.0 crown.
