KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, March 3, IWN — Motorists have a way of remembering and following the traffic laws when he is around.
And, earlier in his career when he policed the bus terminals in Kingstown, omnibus operators, competing with each other for commuters, parked their omnibuses in the stipulated areas at the mere mention of his nickname.
But, Inspector Calvin Glasgow, arguably the nation’s most well known traffic police officer, was transferred from the Police Force last week.
The situation surrounding the transfer of Glasgow, commonly referred to as “Gold Teeth”, to the Licencing Department, was not immediately clear.
I-Witness News was also unable to ascertain the scope of Glasgow’s work at the department.
