This Saturday, the Rawacou Recreation Park will be cooler than usual when the Carnival season ends with the grand finale, the highly anticipated “Vincy Carnival Cool Down Cooler Fete”.
The cool down event, hosted by Absolute Entertainment, will commence at 2 p.m. and will see Problem Child, soca monarch and road march winner Skinny Fabulous, and seven-time soca monarch Fireman Hooper along with Luta, Royall and Keith Currency join with patrons to bring the curtains down on this year’s Carnival season.
New York-based “Problem Child”, one of the headliners for the event, said this will be his final performance to his Vincentian fans before he ends his Vincy Carnival season.
Problem Child said Cooler Fete is an exciting concept to end the Carnival season.
“I am actually excited about this Cooler Fete concept. It is the perfect climax to the Carnival season.”
A highlight of the event is the two-hour drinks special expected to take place between 2 and 4 p.m., where patrons can take advantage of the specials on premium liquor and Hairoun beer, which will follow with performances from the artistes through the evening.
The event ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday.
