Cammie Adams on Sunday extended his lead in the riders championships 2014, registering his fifth win of the St. Vincent and the Grenadine Cycling Union’s race programme.
He won the 12-mile , three-lap race between Peruvian and Argyle in 39 minutes 5.97 seconds.
Snapping at his rear wheel was Peter Durrant in 40 minutes 48 seconds. Zephal Bailey finished third in 41 minutes 52 seconds.
Peter Durrant also won the over 40 category.
Orel George took second spot ( 42mins. 45.96 seconds). Third was Steve Ollivierre (43 mins. 48.81secs).
Zepahal Bailey finished second behind Cammie Adams in the under 40. His time was 41minutes 52.46 seconds. Lucky Antrobus took the third place with 42 minutes26.01 seconds.
Thirteen persons started, and all completed the event, in the unforgiving afternoon sun.
