Police are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle owned and driven by Dorian Shallow, 22, a painter of Mesopotamia, which occurred about 2 p.m. on Friday.
Police say that the motorcycle reportedly ran off the Fountain public road and landed in a drain.
Shallow sustained injuries to his head and was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, where he died.
An autopsy is expected to be performed.
