Police have arrested and charged 17-year-old student Akeem Martin of Ottley Hall with causing grievous bodily harm to fellow student, Mellisa Mcfee, 16, of Largo Height, at Edinboro, on Oct. 28.
Police did not release the details of the incident resulting in the charge, but I-Witness News understand that the charge stems from an incident at J.P. Eustace Memorial Secondary School in Edinboro, that left the female student blind in the right eye.
Reports are that McFee was struck in the eye during an altercation in a classroom during school hours. No teacher was in the classroom at the time, reports say.
