Five young ladies will take the stage this Friday night in the Miss OSCO/LIME Phenomenal Pageant 2015 in Owia.
The contestants are from the North Windward district.
They are Renelle Lavia, Miss Zealous; Shellicia Small, Miss Confident; Iesha Nanton, Miss Courageous; Cherissa Nero, Miss Ambitious and Cozelle Boucher, Miss Driven.
They will compete in swimwear, talent, eveningwear and interview.
The event will also see the first Owia Sports and Cultural Organisation Soca Monarch competition, featuring six young soca artistes from the North Windward area.
On Saturday morning, revellers will take to the streets of Owia for J’ouvert.
There will be a street jump up dubbed the ”Paint and Water Fete”, followed by a River Lime Saturday afternoon.
This is the fourth year that (OSCO) has been organizing carnival activities in Owia, with endorsement from the Carnival Development Corporation.
I promise to sponsor a contest with the top prize of $1,500, second prize, $1,000, and third prize $500 for the title of “Miss Vincie Sketel.”
