IWN, your picture of the deceased students at the memorial service is excellent in the contrasts that it presents. I am referring not only to the technical aspects of the photography but at a deeper emotional, spiritual level.

I think you could not have planned that shot to capture such depth. You captured the miracle in that moment:

The focus is obviously on the children yet the silhouette of the adults above the portraits is as powerful and moving.

There are six adults in silhouette and six children in the light (if you count the one partially hidden behind portrait one and portrait two.  The spiritual message I receive from this image is this:

The adults are alive but they are in the dark, the children are dead but are in the light.
