Because Jehovah’s Witnesses did not share in the march against the legal challenge to the buggery laws in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, some wrongly conclude that Jehovah’s Witnesses support homosexuality, including homosexual marriages. But is that so? Far from it! Just this past weekend, Jehovah’s Witnesses had a one-hour Bible discussion on the need to stay faithful to God all the time. Part of paragraph seven of the discussion states: “We cannot accept the world’s values and standards. For example, we do not approve of sexual immorality of any kind, including marriage between people of the same sex and other homosexual lifestyles.” (Source: The Watchtower – October 2019- Study Article 41 – page 16, paragraph 7)
Other publications of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the past and Bible talks they deliver from time to time also condemn the practice of homosexuality. (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10) I repeat: Jehovah’s Witnesses DO NOT approve of homosexuality.
Jehovah’s Witnesses do not hate homosexuals; they hate the practice of homosexuality. Homosexuals can change their lifestyle and live God’s way as 1 Corinthians 6:11 shows.
So because a religious group did not share in a march against homosexuality does NOT mean they condone homosexuality. Before jumping to conclusion about any religion and its belief on any matter, a person will be wise to check with that particular religion and ask about its belief as Acts 28:22 indicates. Otherwise we may end up spreading false information on a religion and its beliefs. How unfair and unwise that is! Kindly apply the Golden Rule! Matthew 7:12

The liberal /Left like the Roman Church have always had a problem with Reformed Christianity and the liberal /Left for its part have done everything within their powers to undermine its God-given stated values. Modern institutions including the U.N and other bodies such as those being promoted by the E.U have done much to show their utter dislike for long stated Christian Values.
However, studious Christians on the other hand are not in any way surprise by such behaviours on the part of these organisations. Their behaviour could easily be understood as the continuation of a “long war against God” that pops up and shows itself in generations after generation. In recent time the vocal lobby of the Evolution Lobby have demonstrated how anti-God they truly are.

This long war against God and his values, no doubt will continue apace, for as long as humanity exist, as our rebellion, is very much part of our humanity and the fall of man, although non-Christians for their part, rejects the statement of “the fall of man” all together.
We know that in ancient Greek and Roman society’s homosexuality was very much an everyday occurrence, much to the disgust of the early Christians. Paul’s “letter to the Romans” says as much, and he made it perfectly clear, that homosexuality in society was the result of God giving the society over to do very much as it so pleased, and to their hurt.
Therefore, for the Jehovah’s Witnesses to say, quote; “…..we do not approve of sexual immorality of any kind, including marriage between people of the same sex and other homosexual lifestyles.” And
“Jehovah’s Witnesses do not hate homosexuals; they hate the practice of homosexuality. Homosexuals can change their lifestyle and live God’s way”, is as many of the liberals would put it, “we love the person but we hate the sin.”
These statements are somewhat dubious and for sure, is not forthright enough! A much stronger condemnation of the ungodly behaviour is sure needed as is expressed in the God-given Bible.

We are here reminded that for the rejection of God this follows;
“Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonour their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions.
For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality,……..”
What therefore can the detractors say in defence of the things that they do?

Well said Mr Kayman. I am always a believer in “Freedom of Choice”. Any religion has the right to choose to participate in an activity or choose not to participate in such. So all fair-minded persons will respect the choice any religion makes.
