Thirteen teams will go in search of the 2020 national T20 male cricket title, when the championship that falls under the auspices of the SVGCA bowls off of this Saturday.

Defending champions, Flow Rivals headlines group one of the preliminary round that also comprises premier division teams in Victors One and Guardian General Saints.

Police One, Strike Eagles, Vee Jays Roof Top and Bar North Windward and newcomers Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team complete group one.

Group two is led by the 2019 T20 runners up Flow Radcliffe. They will have as contenders in the group the 2020 First Division champions CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Stars, as well as Police Two, Keegans Bequia XI, Victors Two and Pollard Investment North Windward.

The first weekend of the fast pace matches would see four encounters to be decided on Saturday. Victors One squares off with Guardian General Saints at Arnos Vale One while Police One meet Vee Jays Roof Top and Bar North Windward at Park Hill in the male competition.

Also on Saturday, in the female segment of the T20 competition JG Tigress and Sons play CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Girls at Buccament while United Survivors battle Radcliffe Girls at Stubbs. All matches on Saturday begin at 2:00pm.

Six more matches are on the cards for Sunday. Strike Eagles take on Dominic Sutherland Lloyd Lewis Memorial Cricket Team at Stubbs from 10 a.m., to be followed by the matchup between Vee Jays Roof Top and Bar North Windward and Strike Eagles from 2 p.m. at the same venue.

At Arnos Vale One, on Sunday, Victors Two lock horns with Keegan’s Bequia XI from 10 a.m. then at 2 p.m., Guardian General Saints challenge Police One. The two other matches on for Sunday brings together Flow Radcliffe and Pollard Investment North Windward at Park Hill while Police Two come up against CJ MSDA Julius Anthony Northern Stars at Sion Hill, both starting at 10 a.m.
