Fishing boat captain Bernard “Butters” Dublin, of Rose Place, Kingstow, recalls how he and his two-member crew battled, hunger, fatigue, delusion and high seas to survive 11 days adrift at sea.

  1. I believe the fishery department should hold conferences for fisher-folks, because these guy were not knowledgeable of the preparation they should have perform to make the trip. There are lots more this guy and the others have to learn before they go fishing again. I don’t believe they had oars in the boat because they could have used them when they got close to land, before the tide took them out again.
