I’m glad all 3 fishermen are back home safe but let this be a lesson every fishing crew should do a equipment check before shoving off how many times the person who was to get the water leave it on the beach only to realise this miles out at sea and in 2021 and going out fishing without a vhf Radio is Risky Business
On another note I’m hoping the captain can remember the Name and registration number of the vessel that refused to help them that is clearly a breach of MARITIME LAW and must be reported .
I believe the fishery department should hold conferences for fisher-folks, because these guy were not knowledgeable of the preparation they should have perform to make the trip. There are lots more this guy and the others have to learn before they go fishing again. I don’t believe they had oars in the boat because they could have used them when they got close to land, before the tide took them out again.
