When Artists cannot express themselves, what is the point? The opposite of expression is oppression. In the West Indies, you can’t criticize politicians, they will sue you even if you didn’t call their names, and the comical Judges will go along with them. (remember C. John case?) Popular culture in the West Indies is stifled just for a few to oppress the masses and keep them in the dark. Lord, it is black against black. no wonder we’re here stuck in limbo.
