Saint James School of Medicine has announced that it has engaged ARGO Development Studio to build a brand-new medical school campus Golden Vale, East St. George.
The EC$13 million state-of-the-art medical school will offer a top-notch education to students from around the world and will serve as a hub for research and innovation in the medical field, a press release said.
The new campus will feature state-of-the-art facilities and the latest technologies, ensuring that students receive a world-class education that prepares them for successful careers in medicine, a press release said.
“We are excited to be partnering with ARGO to build our new medical school campus on St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” said Kaushik Guha, vice-president of Saint James School of Medicine.
“This is an exciting time for our school and medical education in the Caribbean. With this new campus, we will offer our students a modern, world-class education that prepares them for a successful medical career.”
The press release said ARGO is known for its innovative and sustainable approach to architecture and design.
“They have a proven track record of designing stunning and functional buildings with over USD one billion currently under construction and has delivered over 20 million sq ft of projects in the Caribbean and Ireland over the last 10 years. Their expertise and experience will be invaluable as they work with the Saint James School of Medicine to design and build the new campus,” the release said.

Construction on the new campus is expected to begin soon, with projected completion in mid-2024, the press release stated.
