In just over a day, a second Central Kingstown resident has fallen victim to gun violence in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

On Friday night, Jamal Clarke, of Green Hill, became the nation’s 20th homicide victim this year.

He died in hospital after being shot in his community.

Clarke’s death comes one day after Brian Samuel aka Guttie, 33, of Redemption Sharpes, was killed execution style, with gunshots to the head as he walked in the Central Kingstown community around 7:20 a.m. on Thursday.

Three of SVG’s homicides this year resulted from police in the line of duty shooting civilians, including two mentally ill men.

  1. Black Kings says:

Police who killed mentally ill should be put in prison. Protect the mental illness. Look in to those cases where police killed mentally ill.
