SVG’s Blue Marlins Swim Club was one of 23 teams participating in the 4th Rodney Heights Aquatic (RHAC) Invitational swim meet at the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre in St. Lucia from April 11 to 14.
With only 11 swimmers, out of a total of 340, the team finished in 7th place, with 509 points.
“The team, though small ended the competition with 6 of the top individual places, broke the 11-14 mixed medley relay record and had personal best times in many of their races,” a press release said.
The Blue Marlins Swimmers also had the 4th highest number of medals – 56 — 29 gold, 18 silver and 9 bronze, the release further stated.
