A man died after being stabbed in Calliaqua Sunday night, bringing to three the number of killings in St. Vincent and the Grenadines in as many days.

Details of the killing are still emerging but iWitness News understand that the victim, Elijah Crease, 34, of Calliaqua, died after being taken to hospital.

The death in the south coast town follows killings on consecutive nights in the North Leeward village of Petit Bordel and takes the homicide count this year to 33.

Othnell Lavia, aka Curtell, a 37-year-old farmer, died after being shot in Petit Bordel sometime around 2 a.m. Sunday.

His death followed that of Stanran Stapleton aka Standpide, of Rose Hall, who was shot and killed in Petit Bordel Friday night, 20 years after his father was killed in the village.
