The Carnival Development Corporation announces that the following ragga soca artistes have been selected from the preliminaries to compete in the Ragga Soca competition on July 6 at the Victoria Park at 8 p.m.
- Shernelle “Skarpyon” Williams — Hammer & Conchs
- Shaunelle Mc Kenzie — Up in dat
- Orande “Bomani” Charles — Wine for your life
- Hance John — Sunrise
- Tamisha Nicholls-Lewis “Vincy whining boss”
- Danielle “Daneel” Veira — Till dawn
- Johnny “Johnny Rebel” Hall — Patruna
- Raeon “Fete King Madzart” Primus — Light up the sky
- Recardo Wilson & Maxwell Francis — Recka & Tajoe – “Butt me with respect”
All artistes are asked to attend a meeting at the CDC’s office in Victoria Park tomorrow – Saturday, June 22, at 11 a.m.
A representative from the band Vikings is also asked to attend.
