Gamal “Skinny Fabulous” Doyle retained his Soca Monarch title when the show was held at Victoria Park Saturday night.
In winning the competition, Skinny Fabulous also won himself a new car and EC$25,000.
He extended his reign in the power soca kingdom amidst the return of Delroy “Fireman” Hooper, after a one-year hiatus.
Fireman placed second, while Lornette “Fya Empress” Nedd-Reid was third and Shertz “Problem Child” James was fourt.
Meanwhile, Fya Empress also retained her crown in the Ragga Soca category of the competition Saturday night.
Shernelle “Skapyon” Williams was second while Shaunelle McKenzie was third.
