Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves will lead a cricket team against the SVG Cricket Association President XI in a 25-over encounter at Park Hill Playing Field o Sunday at 11 a.m.

The SVGCA team will be led by President Kishore Shallow, and will include members of the executive, and a few national players, including Ray Jordan and Gidron Pope, as well as former West Indies pacer Nixon Mclean.

Gonsalves says he is keeping his selection options close to his chest, but it is expected that several cabinet members, and some national players like Delorn Johnson and Marvin Small will represent his team.

It is expected that there will be some batting restrictions due to the size of the Park Hill Playing Field, which the SVGCA said will add to the excitement of the match.

There will be music, bar, and entertainment for the children. Cricket officials are anticipating a large crowd to turn up at Park Hill on Sunday, to witness the game, the SVGCA said.

The match was originally scheduled for last Sunday, but was postponed because of rain.
