I am so glad you are addressing this issue. However, I think the real issue is the INORDINATE LENGTH OF TIME READER’S COMMENTS ARE PUT ON HOLD FOR MODERATION.
I can appreciate Admin taking the necessary steps to safeguard their interest; but keeping comments in virtual purgatory for two days or more is just annoying and a disincentive to readers who may wish to make a comment. In this day and age, rapid response is the way of life on the internet. The beauty of posting comments is developing a conversation with other readers by responding to other comments in a timely fashion and thereby developing a rapport with other readers. There will be rude comments here and there and those folks could be easily weeded out, but for the most part, having been on this site for sometime now, I think a certain standard of decorum has been established here on this site. And I believe most folks coming to this site will continue to uphold this standard, even without this draconian type of moderation that is in place here.
I think I speak for everyone that IWINSVG.COM IS THE BEST SITE ON THE INTERNET FOR VINCY NEWS, ENTERTAINMENT, POLITICS, SPORTS…ALL THINGS VINCY. AND I FOR ONE WILL NOT WANT TO SEE THIS SITE GET SHUT DOWN OR DETERIORATE TO A HOT MESS LIKE OTHER VINCY SITES IN THE PAST.
