SVG’s newest radio stations, BOOM 106.9, has created a platform for artistes to be heard and seen.
The station has created The OMG Concert Series, a true live concert, on the popular OMG Morning Show, where soca artistes step into the studio, perform their songs live and give the public an opportunity to learn about their artistry as well who they are when they are not on stage.
“The show is designed to be a unique opportunity to celebrate Vincy soca music and the talent behind that music,” said Danielle Veira, a cohost of OMY and producer of the show.
“Dynamic & endearing host, Dwight Bing Joseph, engages artistes in no holes barred conversations, that offer never-heard-before insight into their lives.
“In a true concert, live show-fashion, artistes perform old hits mixed with new ones. The Concert Series is an atmosphere of pandemonium as the OMG Morning Crew consisting of Dwight Bing Joseph, Daneel Veira and DJ Diego, cheer our mega Vincy stars on throughout it all! Each Series is filmed by the IKTV crew and packaged for viewing on IKTV, Boomsvg.com and YouTube,” she said.
Among the persons who have already appeared on the show are JamesyP, Skarpyon, Shaunelle McKenzie, Luta Royal, Madskull, Dr P, Mylo, New Starrz, Dymez and Osarie.
The show airs Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30 a.m.
