A former secretary at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College has become the third person to be charged in connection with a burglary at the institution that netted some EC$44,000 in cash and other items.
Police said on Monday that 23-year-old Nicole Bailey of Glen was on Saturday arrested and charged with burglarizing the SVG Community College and stealing one proline digital safe value EC$480, one external hard drive valued EC$150 and EC$$43,648.96 in cash, the property of SVG Community College.
The burglary occurred at the Villa Campus of the Community College between Aug. 28 and 20.
Last Tuesday, Sept. 15, Kamorni Antoine, a 24-year-old mason, and Shorn Cabral, 18, a labourer, both of Glen, were charged with burglarising the Community College and stealing a quantity of items valued EC$45,955.01, the property of the college.
They appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Wednesday and were granted bail in the sum of $50,000 each and were placed on curfew from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
They are also to surrender all travel documents.
The matter is scheduled for summary trial on Oct. 12.

It seems to me that those with connections plus most females are given far milder punishments than their unconnected or male counterparts.
We live in a society in which who you are and whether you are male or female counts above all else. Justice is certainly not blind in our troubled land.

Maybe not this time. Being so near to elections and all, they go be in need of a scape goat.
I stated in a previous post on this issue, that the crook was in the office;well the crook was indeed in the office. Now, the only thing left is to fire the punk of a Director at the Community College.
As for this young lady, we all know, she not going jail and will ask to pay back the money…but ah man thief a $20 item in a supermarket, is given six months in jail….real justice in Vincyland.
