Jamie Joachim and Kione Deshong represented Black Sands Swim Squad at the 21st RHAC Invitational Swimming Championships in St Lucia from April 6 to 10.
Joachim dominated the girls 13 to 14 age group, winning every race she swam, bringing home 10 gold medals and claiming the overall champion’s trophy for her age group.
Deshong swam in the boys 9 to 10 age group and placed third overall. He won 3 medals, one gold and two bronze.
Next up for Joachim is the 35th CARIFTA Swimming Championships in Barbados from April 16 to 19 in Barbados.
