St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Sunday recorded its third killing in as many days, taking the homicide count to 44.
iWitness News is yet to verify the identity of the latest victim, who was shot and killed in the West Kingstown community sometime after noon.
The killing followed that of Jelani John aka Bolo, of Fairbaine Pasture, who died in his yard after being shot at his house by unknown assailants around 2 a.m. Saturday.
That death followed the killing of Cornelius Hackshaw, who was gunned down at the Young Island dock around 9 a.m. Friday.
SVG recorded a record-setting 55 homicides, including 52 murders, in 2023, following 42 homicides, another record, in 2022.
The royal Police are not doing any work. There are so many guns in the hands of criminals. There are so much illegal drugs in the land. There are so much crime all about the place. It is a shame.
